What to expect when you visit our office for the first time

Congratulations on taking the first step in choosing to improve the health and appearance of your smile! Dr. Marjan and her team are committed to providing you with confident orthodontic care that puts your mind at ease and gives you the best treatment results possible. Our goal is to achieve a healthy, functioning bite relationship that improves your quality of life as well as boosts your self-esteem.

We provide orthodontic care for patients of all ages, typically beginning around age 7 through adulthood. Dr. Marjan has even cared for patients in their late 50s.

Comprehensive dental examinations

At your first visit with us, we will perform a comprehensive dental examinations that assess the anatomy and function of the teeth, jaws, and face. The way these structures relate to one another dramatically influences the way a person’s smile functions. This assessment will gather information from dozens of key points to determine the best way to achieve a healthy biting relationship.

Diagnostic records

An essential part of our comprehensive patient care begins with diagnostic record gathering. This information allows Dr. Marjan to create a detailed analysis of each patient’s orthodontic case. One of the ways we do this is by implementing digital radiograph technology into your first appointment. We have both digital panoramic and cephalometric devices that we use to capture images of your anatomical and facial features.

One-on-one consultations

After your examination, you will be able to discuss your concerns and questions personally with Dr. Marjan. She will present her findings with you, as well as any orthodontic complications that may exist. Together, we will establish a recommended treatment plan that will help protect the health and function of your smile, in a way that meets your personal goals and needs.
